Geez, some people are ridiculous. No one is making fun of gay bashing. These pictures are cute and humorous. Way to go!

I think it says a lot that it's somehow okay to make fun of gay bashing, which in this movie results in death. Typical. Most people wouldn't find this cute if you were making fun of rape. I wonder how Matthew Shepard would feel about this if the same thing hadn't happened to him. Bringing people down by turning them into cartoon characters is typical of straight male insecurity. We did the same thing to blacks not long ago, exaggerating their facial features, basically turning them into another form of legos. It's dehumanizing. And it's this kind of thing that encourages hate crimes, just like the one depicted in Brokeback Mountain. If you're going to do this kind of thing, you should at least be aware of the common ramifications. Or maybe you are aware and wanted to do it anyway?

I find it unbelievabele (in a good way) that my personal website which usually has pictures of my vacations and family trips has become the forum for such deep discussions. How did this happen?

I think that you really need to look at the overall scope that the movie covers. It's about the history of our country and the rights of the people in it. We should all be able to love those we love without being affraid of those close minded biggots that try and tell us who and when we can love. I am a 65 year old white man and was married to my wife for 45 years when she passed on. Grew to love her very much but when we met I was in love with another women. A black women. but our biggoted society wouln't allow us to be together then. So hats off to BBM thanks for paving the way to end our biggoted upbringings and hopefully making it a little easier to LOVE who we LOVE. This is not about gay or straight, Black or White, Man or Women , Its about being able to love and be truly happy without having any regrets. We all have a BBM story to tell but some of us older have lived it. Thanks for you time and remember follow your heart and love those who love you.

Eh...I think homophobes are really homosexuals that are just afraid to come out and face the reality of real life. Really gay people aren't going to infect you with their "cooties"

Eh...if they did homophobes it would be two men standing as far away from each other as possible - but then again, I always thought homophobes were really homosexuals just scared of their own feelings.....
