Moonbase Paradisa is my contribution to the Lego Community. A Moonbase is a building built with regulation airlocks that can be connected to any other Moonbase. This is Version 1.0 and was displayed at NWBrickCon 2002.
Moonbase Paradisa is a fabulous restaurant in the otherwise harsh vacuum of the lunar surface. It is built in the style of the Paradisa themed Lego sets of the mid-90's.
Right next door is an arboretum
Generous windows allow diners to enjoy the views of the moon.
Of course the restraurant offers alfresco dinning.
For BrickWest PDX in 2004, I added the new elevated dining room for Version 2.0.
The old dinning room became the expanded lounge area. The views we well received by the lucky few who could obtain reservations.
Version 2.0 did not make the move to my new house rather well.
Version 3.0 is in progress and will be displayed at NWBrickCon 2005.
Version 3.0 reopened at NWBrickCon 2005. The new management renamed the restaurant "Oganza Bisasa" which means Big Magic in Pakuni.
The main dining room has four tables. There are eight private pods with exceptional views. Those who are acrophobic should stay at home.
The new Moonbase Club Pool opened for those who can afford the dues. This was dinning room for version 2.0 of Moonbase Paradisa.
